Club nights on a Tuesday 6

Friday is the usual club night in the region, but a handful of clubs meet on Tuesdays. In Mannheim the SK Mannheim-Lindenhof 1865 plays in the Volkshaus Neckarau, the young players from six and the adults from half past seven. Just upstream on the Neckar, the Schachklub 1945 Ilvesheim starts its youth at six and its adults at seven and says guests are welcome, and the Schach Club Neckarhausen trains its juniors from half past five before the adults take over the bowling-alley room.

Further south the Schach- und Skatclub Altlußheim meets in the Bürgerhaus, with youth training in the late afternoon, and the Schach-Club Eppelheim plays from seven in the cellar of the town hall. On the Palatinate side the SC Bad Dürkheim-Wachenheim holds its chess evening on Tuesdays as well, with a blitz tournament open to guests on the first Tuesday of each month.
